Room to think. A path forward.

Therapy for adults across California who hold it together on the outside while carrying anxiety, depression, or trauma on the inside, and for young adults building a life for the first time.

About the practice

Someone finally listening.

I work with adults across California experiencing anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Many of my clients are high-functioning: driven, capable people who appear steady from the outside while feeling very different on the inside. Common themes include burnout, self-esteem, perfectionism, and the cost of holding it all together alone.

I also work with young adults building a life for the first time, sorting out school, work, and relationships while carrying more pressure than those around them realize.

Parents seeking support for a young adult in their family are welcome to reach out, especially when it is difficult to know when to step in and when to step back.

Client focus

Doing well on paper. Struggling underneath.

Steady outside, different inside

Composed to everyone else, carrying more underneath. Used to being the one who has it handled, and tired of doing it alone.

Succeeding at a cost

Career, relationships, and responsibilities running on drive and discipline, with burnout, anxiety, or old trauma quietly collecting the bill.

Building a life for the first time

Young adults sorting out school, work, relationships, direction, and purpose, and wanting more than surface-level answers.

Treatment approach

Evidence-based, tailored to each client.

I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and client-centered therapy, tailored to each client rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether someone is succeeding on paper but stuck inside, or still finding their direction, I work as a collaborator toward what matters to them.

All sessions are held by secure video for clients located anywhere in California. No commute, no waiting room.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

A structured, evidence-based approach for trauma and PTSD.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Building psychological flexibility and action aligned with what matters.

Client-centered therapy

The client sets the direction. My job is to help them get there.

While I am an out-of-network provider and don't bill insurance directly, I'm happy to provide a superbill, a detailed receipt clients can submit to insurance for possible reimbursement, as many PPO plans cover a portion of out-of-network therapy. Getting started

Three steps, no pressure.

Reach out

Book a free 15-minute call, or request an appointment directly through the secure client portal.

Get set up

Once a time is confirmed, brief paperwork is completed online. Private, secure, about 10 minutes.

Start the work

Sessions happen by video, at a pace and direction that fits each client's goals.

The hardest step is usually the first one.

Many clients waited a long time to reach out because everything looked fine from the outside. A free 15-minute call is a low-pressure way to see if it's a good fit.
